This weekend our Intermezzo Choir and board members participated in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s in both Southwest and North Central Florida! 💜 We were all walking for the Intermezzo Choir, whose singers face dementia with courage and resilience.

The Intermezzo Choir has two concerts coming up:

Music has a beautiful way of keeping memories alive. Through our 2nd Annual Intermezzo Memorial Concert, we will honor those whose voices once filled our rehearsals and performances, and those special friends who encouraged, supported, and believed in Intermezzo.

You are invited to make a memorial donation in honor or memory of a loved one, friend, or Intermezzo supporter. Your gift will help us continue the work of bringing the joy and connection of music to those living with dementia, their care partners, and those who sing to remember a loved one.

To make a memorial donation:

Select “Intermezzo Memorial Fund.”
When making your donation, please provide the name of the person you would like remembered at our Memorial Concert.
Names submitted through the Memorial Fund will be included in our special remembrance of those whose lives and voices have touched our Intermezzo family.
Donations over $250 will receive a memorial plaque and VIP seating for the performance.

Please come, bring a friend or family member, and join us for an afternoon of music, memories, and love as we celebrate the lives of those we have lost and the beautiful legacy they have left with us.

There are some people we never want to forget, and sometimes a familiar song brings their memory close again. Through music, we remember and celebrate the memories that live on in our hearts.

This week, the Fort Myers City Council & Councilman Bochette signed a proclamation applauding our Intermezzo Choir - an outreach program for those experiencing neurocognitive decline and their care partners. This was a wonderful recognition of what Intermezzo means to our singers, care partners, volunteers, and our community. 💜
