✨ Vision Board Spotlight ✨

This week, Corey, Brittany, and Hunter brought their goals to life by creating their own vision boards while learning how to use Canva! From personal aspirations to future dreams, each board reflects what motivates them and the steps they’re taking toward their goals.

Not only did they explore their creativity, but they also built valuable digital design skills along the way. We’re proud of their hard work, imagination, and willingness to try something new!

Today, our members had the opportunity to learn the art of improv with Craig Price from Naples Players! 🎭

Through interactive games and activities, participants explored the five pillars of improv: listening, accepting, supporting, problem-solving, and storytelling, while building valuable communication skills. Students practiced thinking on their feet, embracing mistakes, taking risks, and using the power of “Yes, And!” to work together and spark creativity.

Not only was this class full of laughter and fun, but it also helped strengthen public speaking, teamwork, and workplace communication skills in a supportive environment. We are so proud of everyone who stepped outside their comfort zone and gave it a try. Thank you Craig Price for hosting a great workshop for our members!

💙Friendship Wednesday 💙

Mary and Ashley met through My Autism Connection and have been close friends for over a year. From their first hangout at Oasis in Naples to ice cream trips at Wonderland, they've built a friendship full of laughter, fun, and shared interests.

Mary's favorite thing about Ashley is her love for Wicked and Minecraft, while Ashley loves Mary's sweet personality, sense of humor, and the way she is always there as a good friend.

Friendships don't happen overnight, they grow through shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and showing up for one another. At My Autism Connection, we believe that personal friendship development creates connections that can last a lifetime. ✨

Meet Mackenzie, MAC's intern takeover extraordinaire for the month! She'll be taking over our social media to bring you her uplifting energy, share inspiring perspectives on personal development, and spotlight the goals and ambitions of the incredible people in our community.

A student at Florida Gulf Coast University, Mackenzie is working toward her dream of becoming an Occupational Therapist — dedicated to helping people thrive in their everyday lives. When she's not studying or planning her next great post, you can find her with her nose in a good book.

We couldn't be more excited to have her behind the wheel this month. Give Mackenzie a warm welcome and get ready for some good vibes! 👏✨

Friendship, Confidence, and New Experiences — Meet Joseph!
This month, we’re celebrating transitions, and Joseph showed us exactly what that looks like. 👏
What started as spending most of his time at home turned into a journey of friendship, confidence, and meaningful memories. That’s the MAC effect. 💙

Here’s a little about Joseph in his own words:
🎬 Created some of his favorite memories by going to the movies and joining group activities
🤝 Built meaningful friendships and became more comfortable socializing
🌟 Grew more confident and became less shy through shared experiences
💙 Found a community where he could feel comfortable, connected, and supported
Joseph showed us that growth can begin with simple moments shared with others. Through friendship and community, he found confidence, connection, and memories that continue to shape his journey. 🌟
