🔴 From Montana to Wherever They Serve — We Remember. 🇺🇸

Today and every R.E.D. Friday, we honor the Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen, Guardians and Coast Guardsmen deployed around the world in defense of our nation.

Wherever duty has taken them, let them know that America remembers—and Montana remembers.

Remember Everyone Deployed. Until they all come home. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 National Day of the Deployed 🇺🇸

Today, the Department of Montana VFW honors the brave men and women deployed in service to our nation. We recognize their courage, sacrifice, and dedication, as well as the families and loved ones who carry the weight of their absence here at home.

To all who serve far from home, and to those who stand behind them, we thank you for your service, your strength, and your sacrifice. You are never forgotten. ❤️🤍💙

🇺🇸 Today, We Wear Red. 🔴

For every service member deployed, there is a family back home counting the days, an empty seat at the table, and loved ones waiting for a safe return.

This R.E.D. Friday, the Department of Montana VFW asks Montanans to Remember Everyone Deployed and keep our nation’s defenders and their families in our thoughts.

Wear red. Remember their sacrifice. Until they all come home. 🇺🇸

🔴 Red is more than a color on Friday. It is a reminder. 🇺🇸

A reminder that while we go about our daily lives, American service members are standing watch around the world—away from their homes, their communities and the people they love.

The Department of Montana VFW proudly wears red to Remember Everyone Deployed.

May they serve with strength, remain safe, and return home to the families waiting for them.

⚓ Happy 251st Birthday, United States Navy! 🇺🇸

On October 13, 1775, the Continental Congress established the naval force that would become the United States Navy. For 251 years, generations of American Sailors have stood the watch—defending our nation, protecting freedom, and carrying American sea power across the globe.

Today, the Department of Montana Veterans of Foreign Wars proudly honors all who have worn the uniform of the United States Navy, from those who served in generations past to the Sailors standing the watch today.

To our Navy veterans and all currently serving: thank you for your service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our nation.

Honor. Courage. Commitment.
Happy 251st Birthday, U.S. Navy! ⚓🇺🇸

Well, here we are. October 1.

Some claimed that VA was definitely going to change the ratings for tinnitus and sleep apnea by the end of the fiscal year so Congress might as well spend those “savings” on TCAVA.

The VFW said the timeline didn’t add up and that a 2022 proposal wasn’t guaranteed to become the final rule as written.

So about those “savings”…

Protect veterans’ earned benefits. Pass TCAVA without making future veterans foot the bill.

On Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Montana pauses to honor the mothers, spouses, children, siblings, and loved ones of America’s fallen heroes.

A Gold Star represents a sacrifice no family should ever have to bear—the loss of a loved one who gave their life in service to our nation. Behind every name etched into a memorial and every flag presented in solemn remembrance is a family whose sacrifice continues long after the final salute.

To our Gold Star Mothers and Gold Star Families: we see you, we honor you, and we stand with you. Your strength, resilience, and devotion ensure that the lives and legacies of our fallen are carried forward.

Their service will never be forgotten.
Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Their families will never be forgotten.

On September 27, and every day, we remember those who gave all—and we honor the families who carry their memory forward.

🇺🇸 **We honor. We remember. We are forever grateful.**
