💪🏼This week in Community Program, we focused on SELF-ESTEEM and GOAL-SETTING!

✂️On Monday, girls used their skills to traverse the climbing cave while challenging each other to rock paper scissors! Have you ever tried playing rock paper scissors on the rock wall? It's a challenging skill to learn! 😂

🏋🏼‍♀️On Tuesday, we met Dr. Katy Kelly with Guide Physio and Rehab to practice core-strengthening skills, weight circuits, and setting personal SMART goals. Thank you Katy Kelly, DPT🏔️ Injury Rehab Coach for building strength and confidence with our girls!

🚴🏼‍♀️🚴🏼‍♂️Thursday finished the week with a positive self-esteem cruise ride through town despite the snowy/wet trails. We'll be prepared to hit the trails again next week!

Next week, we'll be learning about POSTIVE BODY IMAGE! It is so awesome to see how much these girls have grown in strength, confidence, and community. Keep rocking it girls! GIRLS THRIVE! 🙌🏼

🎉The Women's Adventure Film Tour is coming to Helena! 🎉

WHAT: Girls Thrive will be hosting the Women's Adventure Film Tour (WAFT)! The WAFT is a celebration of the inspiring women around us who are doing extraordinary things in the name of adventure. Every year, WAFT’s selection of unique films is carefully chosen to show incredible women achieving their personally adventurous goals. Being adventurous doesn’t always have to mean being the fastest, going the highest, or doing the most extreme things. Adventure for most of us is stepping outside our comfort zone and climbing our own personal Everest. The films showcase real stories about women from a variety of cultures and sports around the world.

WHEN: November 7th, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Films from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

WHERE: HMS Auditorium in Helena, MT

We hope you join us on November 7th for a night of epic films! We will also have food trucks, a student photography showcase, and a silent auction to benefit Girls Thrive. See you there!
