Guest Presenters: North of Now Consulting & Westaff
This 2-hour, two-part seminar focuses on exploring and understanding why employees stay or leave their place of employment.
The first half of the seminar will break down the cost of turnover and the degree it impacts the organizational structure. We’ll also discuss the importance of employee surveys stay interviews and exit interviews and how to apply that feedback.
The second half of the seminar will explore incentives; why they matter in today’s workforce and understanding what motivates your staff. The group will discuss what’s worked for their organization as we learn creative and cost-effective ideas to incentivize. THIS TRAINING IS A MUST FOR ALL PROFESSIONALS.

JSEC sponsored seminar fees are used to fund the Mike Bullock Memorial Scholarship which awards up to $1,500 toward continuing education to one local high school senior who has ambitions to further their education through a course of study – post high school level and has faced significant adversity in life and has persevered.

The Helena Job Service Employers Committee is proud to open applications for the 2026 Mike Bullock Memorial Scholarship—created to support students who have shown perseverance, grit, and the determination to keep going.

💡 What You Need to Know:
✔ Open to graduating high school seniors
✔ Minimum GPA of 2.5 (you don’t need to be perfect!)
✔ Must demonstrate perseverance and work ethic
✔ Must plan to continue education (college, trade, or technical school)
✔ $750 per year for up to 2 years
