Montana Jewish Project is taking a summer pause from events this season. As we search for our next Executive Director, we are creating space to prepare for new leadership and encouraging everyone, including ourselves, to reconnect and enjoy the summer. We will see you in the fall with fresh energy and exciting things ahead.

At Shavuot, Jewish tradition speaks of standing together at the mountain—listening, learning, and building Jewish community wherever we are.

Please join us on Tuesday, June 23 at 6 PM on Temple Emanu-El lawn for a farewell gathering honoring Rebecca’s leadership and all that has been built together through MJP. This will be a chance to connect with one another, reflect on the past few years, and look ahead to MJP’s next chapter.

If you are aren’t able to join us, please consider making a gift to support MJP’s work in Rebecca’s honor:

We stand in solidarity with our Muslim neighbors and with all communities facing hatred and violence.

No one should fear for their safety in a house of worship.

May the memories of those killed be a blessing, and all who are affected find comfort and healing.

We will miss you, Kaelie! You have helped make MJP a stronger organization and a stronger community, and we are grateful to you.

You brought thoughtfulness, creativity, and care to everything you touched—along with the kind of organizational skill that kept so many different pieces moving. Much of what you did happened behind the scenes, often unrecognized, but it made all the difference.

We don’t have many photos of you at our events because you were usually the one behind the scenes, making sure everything ran smoothly and everyone else was having a good time. The ones we do have are almost always of you in motion.

You will always be part of MJP’s story, and we’re excited for you as you head to Japan for this next chapter.

You can read Kaelie’s newsletter message on our website. Link in bio
