We are getting ready for the 20th Annual Car Show in Fort Bragg!

As we prepare to welcome our community, our office windows have never looked better!

A huge thank you to one of our amazing volunteers who donated their time and talent to transform the front of our building.

Community announcement: The MCCF Family Resource Center will be closed on Thursday, June 25 and Friday, June 26.

We will reopen on Monday, June 29th. 🫶

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Join us in supporting two upcoming community events! Volunteers play an important role in helping us create welcoming and successful experiences for local families.

FATHER'S DAY CAR SHOW
Date: Saturday, June 20
Event Time: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Volunteer Position #1: Event Set-Up
Time: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Responsibilities:
• Set up tables, chairs, tents, and signage
• Prepare registration and outreach areas
• Assist with event preparation

Volunteer Position #2: Outreach & Event Support
Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Responsibilities:
• Welcome attendees
• Share information about community resources
• Support event activities and answer questions
• Assist staff as needed throughout the event

Volunteer Position #3: Event Clean-Up
Time: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
• Break down tables, chairs, and displays
• Collect and organize supplies
• Assist with final event clean-up

MOVIE NIGHT AT TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH
Date: July 10
Event Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Volunteer Position #1: Set-Up
Time: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
• Set up seating, tables, and activity areas
• Prepare refreshments and supplies
• Welcome families as they arrive

Volunteer Position #2: Event Support
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Responsibilities:
• Assist families during the event
• Help distribute snacks and supplies
• Support activities and ensure a welcoming environment

Volunteer Position #3: Clean-Up
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Responsibilities:
• Clean and organize the event space
• Break down tables and equipment
• Assist with final site clean-up
