HRSA has announced more than $135 million in new investments to strengthen nutrition services and the rural health workforce.

California's Rural Health Transformation (CalRHT) Program is officially moving into rollout, with $233.6 million in new federal funding to strengthen rural health systems across the state.

The plan is built on three pillars: regional hub-and-spoke care networks that link larger systems with rural clinics, a workforce strategy that expands roles like community health workers and doulas, and a technology investment in telehealth, remote monitoring, and data sharing.
