Say hello to our newest produce stand greeters! 👻🫑🍌

With bell pepper eyes, banana smiles and plenty of healthy options to share, these two are ready to welcome our neighbors.

They might look a little different from our usual volunteers… but they’ve already mastered the most important job: making everyone feel welcome.

🥫 **Thinking about hosting a food drive? We’d love to partner with you!**

Food drives are a year-round way to help stock our shelves and nourish our neighbors. 💚Schools, businesses, churches and local service organizations can all make a difference! Our most-needed items right now include **pasta sauce, healthy cereal, canned chicken and tuna, chili, low-sodium soup and broth, and canned vegetables.**

Ready to get started? Visit twinlakesfoodbank.org/host-a-food-drive/ to learn more and register your food drive.

Together, we can fill the shelves and help feed our neighbors! 💚

Caring for the neighbors who helped build our community.

In September, we provided groceries and support to 945 seniors over the age of 60. 🛒Behind every one is a story, a family, and a neighbor we've come to care for. It's an honor to walk alongside them.❤️

Two ghosts. One warehouse. A whole lot of work to do. 👻👻They’ve been spotted sorting, stocking, and keeping things moving behind the scenes.

Looks like this ghostly duo has officially joined the warehouse team!

👻 Something… or someone… has been popping up around Twin Lakes Food Bank.

They’ve been spotted stocking shelves, sorting food, tending the garden, carrying baskets of groceries—and even making friends with the produce. 🥬🍊

We’re not quite sure where they came from, but one thing is clear: these friendly ghosts are here to lend a hand.

All month long, keep an eye out for our ghost crew as they discover all the ways volunteers help good food keep moving to our neighbors.

They may be transparent, but their hearts are full. 💚

Our Garden Coordinator and Garden Steward are already dreaming up plans for our next crop! 🥬

Growing fresh produce for our guests takes more than planting a seed and hoping for the best. It takes planning, timing, teamwork, a little problem-solving, and plenty of hard work!

From deciding what to plant to figuring out when, where and how to grow it, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes before that first harvest makes its way to our guests.

Good food starts with a good plan, and around here, we’re already growing something good! 💚🌱
