In July, our amazing garden volunteers harvested 1,610 pounds of organic produce from our very own organic garden! 🙌

In July, we provided groceries and support to 919 seniors over the age of 60. 🛒Behind every one is a story, a family, and a neighbor we've come to care for. It's an honor to walk alongside them.❤️

If you’ve ever wondered who keeps our 150+ weekly volunteers organized, supported, and feeling appreciated, meet Paula! Since joining the Twin Lakes team in 2024, she’s been putting her 20+ years of leadership and service experience to work—coordinating volunteers, supporting events, and helping make all the behind-the-scenes magic happen.

But Paula’s heart for service goes far beyond a job title. She loves seeing people come together to serve their neighbors—and she brings that same warmth, humor, and energy to everything she does. 💙

When she’s not in the office, Paula is kayaking, hiking, making art, spoiling her grandkids, or waging an ongoing battle with her stair stepper. We’re rooting for you, Paula! 😉

July was a big month for our neighbors!

Together, we served 1,621 families with groceries and plenty of encouragement. Every family served is a reminder of what’s possible when our community comes together. 🙌

Thank you Folsom Grocery Outlet for your generosity to help our hungry neighbors!

Thanks to YOU and your generous donations to the Independence From Hunger Campaign, the owner’s son got to help deliver the over 100 pounds of food from our shelves to the Twin Lakes Food Bank yesterday!

And this was just the beginning! 🙌

🎒Last weekend was one for the books!🎒

Our Back 2 School Extravaganza was bursting with smiles, laughter, and community spirit as nearly 400 local students got ready to head back to school! 🍎From picking out the perfect backpack to enjoying fresh haircuts, face painting, frozen treats, garden activities, books, school supplies, groceries, and hygiene kits, there was excitement around every corner. Add in high-fives from Spider-Man, Bubbles the Clown, and the Chick-fil-A Cow, and the day was filled with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

None of this would have been possible without our incredible volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community partners who came together to make this day unforgettable. Thank you!
