So...while we are here, let's have a conversation!

When the park opens this coming Tuesday, June 30th... access will be granted to the sidewalk and the play structures... BUT THE LANDSCAPING WILL STILL BE UNDER CONSTRUCTION.

To protect it - the chain link perimeter fence will remain in place and orange protective fencing will surround areas being seeded and rehabbed.

If we respect all of that - we can play on the structures...if we don't give the grass and new plants a chance to establish; the City will be forced to fence everything off again.

Please be SUPER kind to the "softscape" while exploring all the new things the Castle Park play structures have to offer.

Adults: if you see something, say something. Encourage all behavior to be positive and respectful!!

NOTICE FROM THE CITY OF FOLSOM

Due to an error in the delivery schedule, a printed City of Folsom newsletter arrived earlier than expected and incorrectly indicates Castle Park is already open.

Castle Park is scheduled to reopen Tuesday, June 30, with a grand reopening celebration at 10 a.m. The park remains closed while final preparations are completed.

Thank you for your patience as Folsom Parks & Recreation gets ready to welcome the community back to this treasured playground.
