💚 June is PTSD Awareness Month 💚

At Horses, Heroes & Hope, we honor the strength, resilience, and struggles of those living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). PTSD can affect veterans, first responders, and any survivors of traumatic events.

Through the healing connection between horses and humans, we strive to provide a safe, supportive environment where hope can grow, confidence can be rebuilt, and healing can begin.

This month, we encourage our community to learn more about PTSD, support those who are struggling, and help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health challenges.

To all our Heroes, you are not alone. 💚🐴

Today, our Horses, Heroes & Hope family lost a true friend, patriot, and brother.

It is with heavy hearts that we honor the life of Robert L. Hartwick.

Robert was an Army veteran, a man of courage, kindness, and quiet strength. His love for this program, for horses, and for the people within our community will never be forgotten.

Today, we mourn his loss, but we also celebrate a life lived with honor and purpose.

Please keep Robert’s family, friends, and fellow veterans in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Robert.
Your watch is over, but your legacy rides on with all of us. 🇺🇸🐴💙

🇺🇸 Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Today we honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We are here as a promise that their memory will never be lost or forgotten.

But we are also here for those left behind. The families, friends, partners, and brothers and sisters in arms who carry that loss every day.

Horses Heroes and Hope stands with you as you remember, as you grieve, and as you mourn. We are with you today, and every day, through the pain and through the triumph.

May we never forget the fallen heroes. Their legacy lives on in our hearts, in our communities, and in the hope we continue to share with one another. ❤️🤍💙

Holding space for all those who are struggling today. May you have a meaningful, reflective and peaceful Memorial Day.

Whether you are caring for your children, your animals, your family, or your community, your strength shines through in countless ways. Thank you for the comfort you give, the sacrifices you make, and the hope you help create.

Electric and water shut off today. Thank you to everyone who reached out. We are prepared and doing well so far.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our programs for today. But hope to be back to regular schedule on Friday.

Happy 87th birthday Harry. We are so happy you continue to be part of our program. For his birthday, Harry made Jazzy this beautiful halter. Yes, that's right, for HIS birthday he is making gifts for others. That's the kind of person Harry is.

Spring is officially back at Horses Heroes and Hope. After a few weeks of snow, wind and cold weather we were so excited to see everyone again yesterday. From 1 to 90, there is something for everyone to do at the barn.

If you would like to spend some time around horses our barn doors are always open!
