Black music is entertainment, our history, our resistance, our celebration, and our voice. From generation to generation, Black artists have created the soundtrack of change, joy, struggle, and triumph. This month, we're honoring that legacy through Fridays at the Spot (F.A.T.S.) and more with a lineup full of music, culture, creativity, and community!

Let's close out Black Music Month with JOY! Musicians, vocalists, and music lovers are invited to gather, create, and make some GOOD noise for our city. In a time when we see too much violence and negativity, let's fill the atmosphere with positivity, connection, creativity, and love.

Music has always brought our communities together. This month, let's celebrate the artists who paved the way, inspire the next generation, and remind ourselves of the power of culture to create change.

We welcomed community members from all over to share their stories, speak about their creative work, and connect through meaningful conversation and expression.

Guests at F.A.T.S. also enjoyed our poetry experience! Using writing as a way to reflect, express emotions, and creatively connect with themselves and others truly showed our community's character. It was a powerful evening of community, creativity, and inspiration. 💭✍️🎨

Next quarter, we’re bringing creatives together again for the PRODUCERS MIXER! 🎬🎶🎙️📺
