Missouri Valley Search and Rescue Missouri Valley Search and Rescue Team, based in the St. Louis, MO provides FREE Search and Rescue services in both MO and IL. Louis, Missouri.

We can only be activated by contact from Law Enforcement or another Agency Having Jurisdiction over the missing person case. The Missouri Valley Search and Rescue Team, Inc. is a recognized IRS Not for Profit, 501(c)(3) organization status operating in the State of Missouri. MOVAL was formed in order to continue the mission that was started in 2003 by the Shawn Hornbeck Foundation. The team provid

es services for missing persons primarily focusing on areas within about 100 miles from St. The team is completely comprised of volunteers who dedicate their time to help others and is funded completely by donations! We operate in any weather condition, day or night, 365 days a year! Our services are offered to Law Enforcement, Fire Departments and other Emergency Service organizations FREE of charge. Our training allows us to continue searching when others can't!

A BIG HUGE THANK YOU to all who kicked butt at the Dome at America's Center on Saturday. Paul J. & Sonya "the🍕 team"., Kristoffer "the kitchen Mgr./🥨 King", Tina and Alexis, the 🌭 and brats Queens, Kristi, Chris R., Paul H., & Sonya "The Jack's and Jills of all 🥤🍺🍿🥨", & Kari and Katherine (Kristi's friend who helped us) the💰💲💵 Queens. We had the place cleaned up and counted before the end of the 4th quarter. We worked like a well oiled machine. The school extended their appreciation to us again and were INCREDIBLY impressed with all of you. On a personal note, thx from me for helping out. - Syndi 😁

It is with a sad heart that we announce the passing of one of our longtime members, Leonard "Lenny" Hodges, this past weekend. Lenny has been with Missouri Valley Search and Rescue for many years and was also a member of the previous Hornbeck Search and Rescue Team, where he was a K9 Handler. With the Missouri Valley Search and Rescue Team, he continued to volunteer with the Command Operations team. He will truly be missed!
