Shout out to our crack of dawn PTO skeleton crew of Rachel G., Taylor F., and Tim M. for making Torrey Hill Intermediate School 5th Grade Party tunnel dreams come true… complete with smoke!

We at the Lake Fenton PTO - West Shore & Torrey Hill are SO very excited to announce we have officially booked Jim "Basketball" Jones for fall assemblies {in addition to Supe's Exotic Jungle} for West Shore Elementary and Torrey Hill Intermediate School this fall!

ANND because we know that the upcoming 6th-8th graders at Lake Fenton Middle School were key to our fundraising efforts these past three years we also have booked the Middle School version Jim "Basketball" Jones for them as well as a HUGE THANK YOU for contributing to the success of our organization!

With 1,100+ students, faculty, and staff participating, these shirts can (and will) be worn far beyond Fun Run day 🤩 from Homecoming to school spirit days to sporting events to community activities all year long!

🚨👟 WANTED: BLUE DEVIL FUN RUN LEAD(S) 👟🚨

We know everyone is DEEEEP in Maycember 😅 but we wanted to get this out now so we collectively can start planning ahead for an AMAZING September 2026 event!

💙 The Blue Devil Fun Run + Fundraiser is a partnership between Lake Fenton Community Schools (West Shore Elementary & Torrey Hill Intermediate School) and Lake Fenton PTO - West Shore & Torrey Hill 🤝 meaning funds raised are split to go directly back to the students, staff, programs, and needs within our schools!

👀 We are looking for a responsible, creative, and enthusiastic individual (or individuals!) who would like to take the lead on this event. We want a TEAM approach and are looking for event leads + coordinator(s) who can help:
• Brainstorm fun ideas to make the event EPIC for students
• Help grow the fundraiser to maximize support for our schools
• Work alongside PTO & school staff/admin leading up to the September 2026 event
• Organize & Coordinate the actual Fun Run (this will be the main in-person time usage, everything else can be done via phone/internet. We know people have lives and nobody got time for lots of meetings!)

💙 Did you know the Lake Fenton PTO - West Shore & Torrey Hill helps fund, organize, coordinate, decorate, haul, host, stock, celebrate, and problem-solve SO many of the little things that make our schools extra special for students and staff?

🤩 As we approach the final weeks of the school year, we wanted to highlight just a small glimpse of what your PTO has helped make happen this year!

👏👏 And speaking of support… WOW. During West Shore Elementary and Torrey Hill Intermediate School Teacher Appreciation Week alone, our PTO QR codes, Teacher Favorite Things list, and the Stock the Lounge/Breakfast sign-up links received 3,400+ combined scans and clicks in just TWO weeks 🤯 with a social media views of 33.1K! Your involvement absolutely showed in the success of this celebratory event for our WS & TH teachers and staff!

🌟 HUGE shout out to Pit Boss smokehouse for being the STAR of our Super Sweet Teacher Appreciation celebration at West Shore Elementary & Torrey Hill Intermediate School!

🔥 The reviews are in and it was an absolute 10/10 hit with our teachers and school staff!

🐽 Our friends over at Pit Boss smokehouse provided an amazing made-to-order lunch experience for 100+ people, AND to top it off they also gave back to our school community by covering a portion of each person’s meal cost 💛 From the incredible food to the generosity shown to our schools, we are so grateful have them back for another year 🎤✨ Talk about a true Super Sweet 16 VIP guest!
