Join For-Mar’s Beekeeper and explore our honeybee friends and learn about the tools and tricks of beekeeping. This hands-on session will show you what being a beekeeper is like and teach you general honeybee knowledge. We will even sweeten your day with a taste of our honey!

Open Gate Garden Club is sad to share the news of the passing of long-time member, Hugh Harroun. For more than 20 years Hugh was an active member, always volunteering and lending a hand when needed. He was an excellent photographer whose photos often took high placements in our annual photo contest. Hugh was also a gracious host, along with his beloved wife, Debbie Tegard-Harroun, welcoming members to their beautiful Garden Tour-worthy grounds and home many times throughout the years. He will be greatly missed by all. Our heartfelt condolences to his family.

🎄OGGC enjoyed a fun, festive Holiday gathering last night. Over 60 members attended, despite slippery roads. Please know that if you were unable to make it, you were thought of!💚
The food, decorations, and music were all lovely! ❤️

Our condolences. 💚

We just got the terrible news that Bev Tippett has died. She was serving as chair of the museum board and as a member of the Fenton historical society board at the time of her death. Bev was a friend of the museum through and through. She will be sorely missed!

The museum will be open this Sunday from 1pm to 4pm, if you would like to come up and share a story about Bev.
