Perfect evening for our summer kickoff party last night. Attendance over 250 people. Thank you to everyone who attended. What a memorable evening with the full moon at night over Lake Ponemah capping a great night.

Please join me in thanking the following people & companies for ensuring a successful event.
-Tony & Kate Spezia and Brad & Sarah Eastman for opening up their properties to host the 2026 PST kickoff event. Every little detail addressed perfectly.
-Lauren Burchart Designs for putting this event together and exceeding expectations.
-ShoreDo Party Store (Shaun Benard) for his donation of the kegs of beer. Always supports PST.
-Blondie's Bottle Service for their outstanding service handling the alcohol distribution.

We’re looking for a few more volunteers to help make the event a success! Just a reminder… EVERYTHING the PST Lake Association does for our community is powered by volunteers. Events, activities, lake improvements, family fun - it only happens because neighbors step up and pitch in!

I have heard from a few PST members that they would like to attend our June 8 golf event at Spring Meadows but are unable to get a team foursome together. If you would like to play, but unable to assemble a team, text me at 248-396-1093 and let's see if we have enough golfers to assemble another team or two.

Just a heads up to the PST lake community. The Linden dam was adjusted to summer water levels on May 7th. This was about a week earlier than in the past few years.

Yesterday, May 16, was our annual PST Spruce Up The Shores event. The objective of the event is to identify and remove water hazards both seen and unseen.

The objectives yesterday focused primarily on two complex challenges.The first was a massive dead cottonwood tree that had floated down the Squaw/Ponemah channel and became lodged under a neighbors seawall. The second focus was the Tupper/Ponemah channel with the removal of the navigation challenging stumps and large buried deadwood.

I am please to announce mission accomplished on both fronts.

Please join me in thanking the following individuals who made our watershed safer for all to enjoy. The volunteers were Zack Day (organizer), David Day, Bryon Matthews, Tony Spezia, Gary Carlson, Brad Eastman, Matt Burchart, Chris Skinner, Chad Stamos, Jill Dawn and Warren Hinzman.

These members are examples of why all of us are blessed to live in the PST community.

The PST ladies day lunch this Friday, May 15 will now be held at The Barn in Fenton starting at 12 PM. Whiskey Glasses Saloon will not have lunch services until Memorial Day weekend. Hosts will be Mary Shantz and Kris Polk.
