This month, our Scouts are focusing on what it means to be HELPFUL!

By lending a hand, helping a friend, serving our community, or doing a good deed without being asked, even the smallest acts of kindness can make a BIG difference! 🌟

Remember, being a Scout means always looking for ways to make the world a little better. 🌎💛

So let’s spread kindness, lend a helping hand, and show everyone what it means to live by the Scout Law!

In September, the bears rolled up their sleeves and got to work cleaning up The Fenton Community Garden in September!🧤🪴 🐻

Shout out to the bears & parents / extra help for giving back, working together, and helping our community bloom! 🌼🐝 🌍

⚓️ ⛴️ Ahoy! Our Scouts had a great time exploring the retired naval ship, the USS Edson at the Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum in Bay City at the end of September! 🇺🇸 We learned history of the ship, and explored above and below deck! 🛟

Cub Scout Summer Camp was a hit! 🏕️
Despite the mosquitoes we all had a great time fishing 🎣 , swimming , hiking 🥾 , campfires🔥enjoying campfire stories 👻 and rock hunting for Yooperlites🪨!
Thank you Camp Hiawatha for hosting us!
And thank you thank you thank you all for make this a fun and memorable experience for our scouts! ❤️

Scout day at the capital June 9, 2026

Also today, members of the Bears and Wolf Dens went and cleaned up trash along a half mile stretch of Denton Hill today. Collecting 115 lbs in trash bag and many miscellaneous items like a car battery, swingset slide and more.

Pack 286 joined our Fenton Troops 212 and 219 for a cleanup at our local VFW hall today.
