We are honored to announce the Tebo Family as the Grand Marshal of the 2026 Fenton Freedom Festival! ❤️🤍💙

The Tebo Family has dedicated years of service to preserving and honoring our community’s history through their volunteer work at Oakwood Cemetery. Their efforts include leading local history walks, helping families locate ancestors, and supporting the care and preservation of this important historic site.

They have also been actively involved in historical preservation efforts throughout the community, including service on the City of Fenton Veterans Memorial Committee. Their commitment to honoring local history and those who have served has made a lasting impact on Fenton.

Together, they were recognized as “Cemeterians of the Year” by the Michigan Association of Municipal Cemeteries—an incredible reflection of their dedication and service.

We are proud to recognize the Tebo Family for their outstanding contributions to our community and our shared heritage.

🏆 Fenton Freedom Festival FLOAT CONTEST!
Bring your creativity, we’re awarding 1st–4th Place with perks like Top 10 lineup placement, a feature photo, free 2027 registration, and more!

📅 Key Dates:
• Register by June 26
• Lineup released July 1
• Staging opens July 3 at 5 PM
• Parade starts July 4 at 10 AM

🚗 Day‑Of:
• Lineup at 8 AM (Industrial Park)
• All entries must be decorated
• Enter staging via Silver Lake Rd only

🛑 NO THROWING, candy must be handed out by walkers.

💰 Fees:
Businesses $80 • Political $500 • Others $25

Congratulations to Adopt A Pet of Fenton, Michigan on the ribbon cutting of their new Training & Enrichment Center! 🎉🐾

This incredible new facility is a meaningful investment that will provide rescued dogs with opportunities to build confidence, learn valuable skills, receive enrichment, and better prepare for loving furever homes.

We are proud to celebrate this exciting milestone and grateful for the positive impact Adopt-A-Pet continues to make in the Fenton and Linden area.

Thank you to everyone who supported this project and stopped by to celebrate this special event! We look forward to seeing all the lives that will be changed through this new space! 💙💚
