1️⃣ Sr. Safety Manager - Coatings (Fenton, MI)
In this leadership role, you will oversee and advance safety programs across coatings operations, mentoring personnel and partnering with field and operations teams to reduce risks, strengthen accountability, and ensure regulatory compliance.

🔺 Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial construction safety, including coatings, roofing, confined spaces, lead abatement, respiratory protection, fall protection, and PPE
🔺 Proven ability to conduct jobsite audits, identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and confidently intervene or stop work when unsafe conditions are observed
🔺 Experience developing and delivering safety training, leading incident investigations, completing root-cause analyses, and maintaining accurate regulatory documentation
🔺 Exceptional leadership and communication skills to mentor safety personnel, advise field leaders, and foster a proactive safety culture across project teams and operations

2️⃣ Change Management Specialist (Fenton, MI)
In this role, you will help employees successfully adopt new processes, systems, technologies, and operational improvements by developing practical strategies that support lasting change across field and office operations.

🔺 Proven ability to develop and execute change management plans, assess organizational impacts, identify adoption barriers, and support employees throughout transitions
🔺 Strong communication and training skills to translate complex initiatives into clear expectations, job aids, process documentation, and other practical resources
🔺 Ability to build trusted relationships across all organizational levels, coach leaders through change, and influence stakeholders with differing priorities and levels of readiness
🔺 Analytical and strategic skills to measure adoption, monitor implementation risks, prevent change fatigue, and ensure changes support productivity, safety, quality, and continued growth

The GST Michigan Works Lapeer Service Center is hosting an AARP representative on September 30th from 10 am - 12 pm, who will be available to share more about the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). Through SCSEP, eligible participants can receive on-the-job training in community service positions, working an average of 20 hours per week while earning the highest applicable minimum wage. Training & support are designed to help participants build the skills & experience needed to pursue future employment.
