🦅🐦 HELP US SPREAD THE WORD! 🐦🦅

Northsong Wild Bird Rehabilitation (NWBR) is in need of additional Veterinary Assistants, Veterinary Technicians, and DVM Volunteers to join our incredible team—especially to help provide medical support when our veterinarian is unavailable.

Our mission is to provide medical care to injured avian wildlife while promoting environmental conservation through community education and involvement. Every bird that comes through our doors has a unique story, and being part of their journey from injury to release is one of the most rewarding experiences imaginable.

Whether you’re looking to expand your veterinary skill set, gain hands-on avian medicine experience, or simply want to make a meaningful impact in wildlife conservation, NWBR offers opportunities to learn, grow, and be part of truly amazing success stories. From diagnostics and treatments to rehabilitation and release, you’ll develop technical skills while helping give wild birds a second chance.

Please share this post with your veterinary teams, colleagues, classmates, and professional networks. Your share could help us find the next person who changes the life of an injured bird.

Meet Barn Swallow babies #283 and #284. 🐦💛

Every few minutes from sunrise to sunset, hungry babies like these are waiting for their next meal. Our team works tirelessly to provide the specialized care, nutrition, and attention they need to grow strong enough for life in the wild.

While feeding a couple of baby birds may seem like a small task, it’s one of hundreds of feedings that take place each day during baby bird season. Every patient that comes through our doors represents time, resources, and a commitment to giving wildlife a second chance.

As we navigate our busiest season of the year, your support helps us continue saying “yes” to birds in need.

Thank you for helping us care for patients like Barn Swallows #283 and #284. 🩵

Every life matters. 💛

This tiny baby bird came to us with a fractured leg. Our team carefully sedated, aligned, and splinted the injury, giving this little patient the best chance at healing and returning to the wild.

Stories like this happen every day at NWBR—and right now, we are in the midst of our busiest and most expensive season. From emergency medical care to specialized supplies and round-the-clock treatment, the cost of saving wildlife adds up quickly.

If you believe every bird deserves a second chance, please consider supporting our mission today. Your generosity helps make rescues like this possible.

Together, we can give more patients a chance to fly again. 🐦

🔨🔩 We are looking for a construction company to help us build a new set of aviaries. We have the professionals designs, and are seeking bids and a team to execute this amazing project supported by and American Electric Power - AEP. We have admitted over 300 birds this year, but only have one aviary on site (funded by Northwest Arkansas Audubon Society). We are in critical need of more flight space and are asking our community to help us find a connection! We have reached out to over 10 construction companies with no success!

🚜 If your company or organization is interested in helping, please email us at [email protected] so we can send you the prints for pricing. If you have a company in contact you feel we should reach out to please similarly share that!

❤️ Thank you to our community for making what we do possible. We never expected to get this large this fast, but are grateful to be able to help avian wildlife in anyway we can. ❤️
