Congratulations to University Professor Richard Cassady, recipient of the 2025 Dr. John and Mrs. Lois Imhoff Award for Outstanding Teaching and Student Mentorship.

A dedicated educator, mentor and leader in the College of Engineering, Cassady has spent decades helping students succeed both inside and outside the classroom. From founding the first-year engineering program to mentoring future engineers, his impact can be felt across the University of Arkansas.

A gift from the estate of U of A alumna Jane McMullin is helping create new opportunities for Arkansas students.

The $100,000 endowment will support Land of Opportunity Scholarships for students with financial need, helping them focus more fully on academics, leadership and campus life.

McMullin loved Arkansas and believed deeply in education. Her legacy will continue through the students this scholarship supports for years to come.
