The purpose of Arkansas Dance Marathon is to unite the University of Arkansas and the surrounding community in an impassioned effort to provide financial support to Arkansas Children's Hospital while inspiring patients and their families. ADM strives to uplift the children of ACH while facilitating the growth of students into active community leaders and supporting Children's Miracle Network Hospi

tals. We are an RSO at the University of Arkansas and work year round to support Arkansas Children's Hospital through fundraising and events. Dance Marathon is a nationwide movement where students spend a year learning leadership and life long skills while raising funds. All the hard work and dedication leads up to an end of the year dance marathon which lasts for 12 hours straight of standing, no sitting. There are many events during this time, such as dancing, games, and many other activities, one of which we get to meet some of the kids and families. Everything we do is For The Kids!

2 weeks ago our Arkansas Miracles team had the opportunity to join Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and fellow Dance Marathon programs from across the country for a weekend full of learning, leadership, and inspiration.

We came home with new ideas, meaningful connections, and a renewed passion for making a difference for the kids and families we serve. Hearing powerful stories, collaborating with other student leaders, and learning how we can continue to grow our impact reminded us why we do what we do for the kids.

A huge thank you to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for hosting such an inspiring conference and to everyone who made this experience so memorable. We can’t wait to bring what we learned back to campus and continue making miracles happen together.
