It just so happens that both of our Senior Center transportation drivers share the SAME birthday!

So today we want to wish them both a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

We are so thankful for everything you both do for the Senior Center and our senior community. From getting our seniors where they need to go, to helping make our field trips and outings possible, you do so much more than just drive!

Thank you for always being willing to help, for taking such good care of our seniors, and for being such an important part of our Senior Center family.

We hope you both have the BEST birthday! You deserve to be celebrated today

After working around the weather and everyone’s busy schedules, our greenhouse is finally up!

This project has been a labor of love, and we’re so excited to see it come together. We couldn’t have done it without the amazing volunteers who generously gave their time, worked hard, and helped make this vision a reality.

Thank you to each and every person who pitched in. Your support means so much to our seniors and to our community.

Now that the greenhouse is standing, we’re ready to move on to the next exciting phase—filling it with life! We can’t wait to start planting, growing, learning, and sharing this space with everyone.

Stay tuned… the best part of our greenhouse project is just beginning!

Good news! We will be OPEN tomorrow!

Our plans have changed, and we’re excited to spend the day together!

We’ll be working on our greenhouse project for a little while, getting in some exercise, and there will probably be a little chair volleyball too!

If you’re looking for something to do, come spend the morning with us. We’d love to have you join us for some fun and maybe a little friendly competition!

Can you help us reach ONE senior who may not know about the Senior Center?

So many people tell us, “I didn’t even know the Senior Center did all of this!” We want to change that.

What a beautiful day celebrating our Gorgeous Grandmas!

Today was filled with pampering, relaxation, laughter, and of course… some amazing tea! It was the perfect excuse to slow down, visit with friends, and make some special memories together.

A huge thank you to Lisa and Michelle with NKCAC’s Retired Senior Volunteer Program for spending the day with us and treating our ladies to hair and makeup. You helped make everyone feel extra special!

We were also excited to welcome a few new faces to the Senior Center today. We hope you had as much fun as we did, and we can’t wait to see you again!

Here are a few pictures from our tea party. We were all having such a great time that I forgot to take very many! Sometimes that’s the best sign of a successful day.

Days like today remind us why we love what we do. There’s nothing better than seeing smiles, hearing laughter, and watching friendships grow

You asked… so we’re doing it again!

We had so many people ask when we’d be having another yard sale, so here we are!

We’re planning another Yard Sale Fundraiser for early September, which means it’s time to start accepting donations from our amazing community once again.

If you’ve been doing a little back-to-school cleaning, organizing closets, or just looking to clear out some space, we’d love to take those gently used items off your hands. Your donations help support projects and activities that benefit our seniors and our community.

Thank you for always showing up for us. Whether you donate, shop, share our posts, or simply cheer us on, we couldn’t do it without this wonderful community. We can’t wait for another great yard sale!

🚨 Field Trip Update 🚨

Due to a scheduling change, our tour at Punkyville has been rescheduled. We know everyone was looking forward to it, but we’ll let you know the new date as soon as it’s set!

The good news… we’re still getting together for lunch!

We’ll be meeting for lunch at 11:00 AM, and we’d love for you to join us!

If you’d like to eat with us, please call the Senior Center or stop by this morning so we can get an accurate headcount.

Our hearts were warmed by a very thoughtful surprise from the 1st and 2nd Grade Sunday School classes at Trinity Southern Baptist Church.

As part of their Serve Week, they put together a basket of snacks and goodies for our seniors to enjoy. What a wonderful way to spread kindness and brighten someone’s day!

It’s so special to see our younger generation thinking of and caring for our older generation. Small acts of kindness like this remind us how strong our community truly is.

A huge thank you to the children, their teachers, and everyone at Trinity Southern Baptist Church for your generosity and for putting smiles on the faces of our participants. Your thoughtfulness means more than you know!

We are so blessed to live in a community that cares for one another.
