The Pendleton County Community Wellness Coalition's vision is to be a voice, partner, and leader in building community wellness for all citizens in Pendleton County. The Community Wellness Coalition (CWC) is a group of community partners representing a variety of organizations locally and regionally, who meet to address the needs of our community. A CHIP is an organized, collaborative effort to ad
dress health issues and well-being of a community, and its purpose is to improve health outcomes regarding the issues identified as the CWC's top priorities over the 2020-2024 period. The top three strategies we are currently focusing on are: Mental Health, Physical Health, and Access to Services. Community members of multiple sectors have profound insight in identifying the barriers that prevent our community from achieving health equity on all levels, and as a group, we are able to analyze how to overcome these barriers together. The Community Wellness Coalition recognizes that there are multiple pillars that serve as a means to improve one's health and well-being. Those pillars include: Physical, Mental, Social, Emotional, Environmental, Spiritual, Intellectual, and Financial. Our group of dedicated partners are committed to servicing the needs of our community. Our mission is to empower community partners and citizens to promote community wellness through partnership, engagement, education, and collaboration of efforts and resources.
