Pendleton County Search & Rescue, Inc. Non-profit organization , rescue department on water and land If you would like to donate, please send check to Chief Darrin Brown 206 N Liberty St.

Falmouth Ky 41040 or if you would like to join, training will be held at the Eoc next to high school on Nov 7 at 9 am. Class will be on ropes. All training and meetings are on the first Sat of every month. Must come to meeting or training 3 times in a roll, if not you start over and then get voted on. Basic Training classes are a requirement and they are a 3 day class. This class can be taken after you get on and normally they are out of town.

K9 Team Spots are very close to being fill. If you have already signed up keep an eye out for informational emails. Volunteers will also be receiving additional information.

When the call came, we answered. 🐾

Jennings County K9 Search & Rescue was proud to respond alongside the many agencies and teams who came together to assist in the search for the missing individual.

We’d especially like to recognize K9 Handler Roger Brown and his K9 Princess, for answering the call and putting their training to work when our community needed them.

A special shoutout as well to Annette Compton and her K9 Queenie for their assistance . ❤️

Search and Rescue is never about one person or one agency—it’s about showing up, working together, and bringing someone home. We are grateful this search had a successful outcome and proud of every person and K9 who answered the call.

I am happy to announce that Pendleton County Search & Rescue, Inc. K9 team has been selected to receive a K9 Trauma Kit from Protection4Paws. This organization is donating 250 kits to K9 teams across the USA. The girl dogs and Shorty are so excited.

Protection4Paws K9 Trauma Kits provide handlers with critical medical supplies designed to help stabilize an injured K9 until emergency veterinary care is available.

These kits can help treat:
🐾 Gunshot wounds
🐾 Stab wounds
🐾 Severe bleeding
🐾 Lacerations
🐾 Heat-related emergencies
🐾 Other traumatic injuries sustained in the line of duty

Pendleton County Fire Department's Fire Station Grand Opening this Saturday, September 19 from 12 Noon to 2 PM.

There will now be be catered food, door prizes, an opportunity to sign up for free smoke alarms, goodies for the kids, tours of the new fire station, touch a truck and a chance to meet the volunteers who give of their time to serve the public.

HOT AND HUMID AGAIN TODAY

Temperatures will reach the lower to mid 90s this afternoon. Combined with high humidity, maximum heat indices will be in the upper 90s to around 100 degrees.

Try to limit time outdoors today during the afternoon when heat illness is most likely to occur. If going outdoors, drink plenty of fluids and take breaks out of the sun.
