Falmouth Ky 41040 or if you would like to join, training will be held at the Eoc next to high school on Nov 7 at 9 am. Class will be on ropes. All training and meetings are on the first Sat of every month. Must come to meeting or training 3 times in a roll, if not you start over and then get voted on. Basic Training classes are a requirement and they are a 3 day class. This class can be taken after you get on and normally they are out of town.

HEAT ADVISORY ISSUED...IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TUESDAY TO 11 PM WEDNESDAY

Heat index values up to 103 are expected. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

This month, Hardin County Search and Rescue joined multiple nearby rescue groups for a meet & greet dinner as well as a multi-group exercise.

Our unit has been eager to partner with surrounding teams and cannot wait to get the ball rolling!

Our friends at Front Gate Personal Care Home in Butler are looking for a resident that went missing in Ft. Thomas after a recent hospital visit!

Please keep and Eye out for John Medley, Age 59.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Mr. Medley please contact your Local Law Enforcement or the State Guardianship Office at (859) 371-7182.

Mr. Medley is entered into Law Enforcement databases as Critically Endangered.

We want to thank everyone that stopped by yesterday to meet our k9 handlers and k 9’s here in Pendleton county Mo , Queenie, Pearl, Zelda, Tina Sue, along with some SAR members that was excited to participate , a lot of good information was handed out Hug A Tree coloring books , scent kits just in case you ever need they will keep your scent up to 5 years in the freezer

I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for the exemplary dedication and commitment demonstrated by all fire departments and first responders throughout Pendleton County during the severe weather event on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
Beginning at 4:53 a.m. with a utility trouble call on Jenkins Lane, emergency personnel responded continuously throughout the day to weather-related emergencies across the county. Over the course of the event, first responders handled a total of 28 calls, working tirelessly to protect the lives and property of Pendleton County residents.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the members of Pendleton County Fire, Pendleton County Search and Rescue, and Falmouth Fire for their outstanding service and dedication in managing these incidents. We also recognize Northern Pendleton Fire, which remained on standby and ready to respond to any fire emergencies throughout the county while other agencies were committed to storm-related operations.
These dedicated men and women answered call after call under difficult and often hazardous conditions, demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to public safety. Their efforts ensured that our community received the assistance it needed during this challenging weather event.
Chief D. Brown would also like to extend a special thank you to the many individuals and organizations who assisted with the rehabilitation and support of emergency responders throughout the operation. Your generosity and support helped keep our personnel safe, hydrated, and ready to continue serving the community.
Special thanks go to the Pendleton County CERT Team, the owners of Mystery Box, Tom Weber, Debra Scott, and Landon Scott for their contributions and support during this emergency response effort. Your willingness to step forward and assist our responders is greatly appreciated and reflects the strong spirit of service found throughout our community.
On behalf of Pendleton County Fire, thank you to all of our first responders, volunteers, supporters, and community partners for your dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to serving others. Your hard work did not go unnoticed, and Pendleton County is fortunate to have such outstanding individuals and organizations ready to answer the call when needed.
