Pendleton County High School and Champions recently hosted a Sources of Strength Field Day, bringing students together to celebrate the many supports that help us stay healthy, hopeful, and connected. Throughout the day, different tables were set up around the gym, each representing one of the Sources of Strength in which activities were facilitated by our Sources of Strength Peer Leaders! Students rotated through the stations, participating in hands-on activities that highlighted the importance of family support, positive friends, mentors, healthy activities, generosity, spirituality, mental health, and physical health.
From making friendship bracelets, to making paper flower bouquets, to making personalized sleep goals door hangers, and so much more, every station offered a meaningful way for students to engage with the idea that we all have strengths we can rely on. The event not only promoted wellness but also strengthened the sense of community across our school. It was a fun, active reminder that no one has to face challenges alone—we all have sources of strength to lean on.
And not to mention…a HUGE inflatable obstacle course and inflatable axe throwing game to add extra fun to the day!!
