What?!!! The Grascals are coming to Falmouth for the Kentucky Wool Festival!! Yes, you heard that right!

And if you know Bluegrass, you know this is a BIG deal! The Grascals are a three-time Grammy-nominated Bluegrass band and two-time IBMA Entertainers of the Year - but their connection to one of country music's most beloved legends, Dolly Parton, makes their story even better.

Early in their career, The Grascals were hand-picked by Dolly Parton to tour with her, serving as both her opening act and backing band. That friendship has lasted through the years, and recently it came full circle with a very special song — “Broken Angels" which was inspired by the struggles of addiction, recovery, hope and second chances.

Written by The Grascals’ Jamie Johnson and Dolly Parton, Broken Angels was inspired by the struggles of addiction, recovery, hope and second chances. The song came from a deeply personal place for both Johnson and Parton, and their longtime friendship helped shape it into something powerful and heartfelt.

Now that song is earning national attention in the bluegrass world — and the band behind it is coming right here to Pendleton County.

So picture this: a crisp October afternoon, the hills around Falmouth showing off their fall colors, the smell of all that famous Wool Fest food in the air, and The Grascals live on stage.

Do you have an event coming up in Pendleton County? We want to help spread the word!

Pendleton County has a lot of great events happening right here locally and we want everyone to know about your exciting event.

The truth is...sometimes we don't know about your event either! If you have a special event like a fundraiser, music events, community gatherings, agri-tourism event, open house, customer appreciations, or other special moments you want to share with the public, make sure to submit it to our Pendleton events calendar.

We want to share your events with not only our locals, but to those who may be visiting the area, spending the weekend looking for something to see and do.

Help us keep everyone in the know and up to date on the latest happenings in Pendleton County. And, if you know of someone who is planning and event, share this post and encourage them to submit it, too!
