Butler, Ky.  Lions Club We serve local communities - and protect the planet. We support sight programs and services including vision screenings, eye banks, and eyeglass recycling.

We perform hands-on service projects and provide emergency assistance. Our community and environmental projects improve our communities- and protect the environment.

Northern Kentucky residents are coming together to honor a local man who died during flooding in Pendleton County last year.

The second annual "The Boo Project" cleanup event is scheduled for Saturday morning.

Earth Day is celebrated annually on April 22 to raise awareness and support for environmental protection. The first Earth Day was held on April 22, 1970, and it has since become a global event aimed at promoting sustainability and conservation. Butler, Ky. Lions Club members with 3 friends from Campbell County, cleaned Ed Monroe Road and parts of US 27 in Falmouth.

April 15, 2026: Wagners Ferry Road in Falmouth is quite a bit cleaner today thanks to the efforts of dedicated Butler Lions. 10 large garbage bags were filled with mostly beer & soda bottles & cans and every imaginable disgusting trash from diapers to fast food remnants.

March 30, 2026: The Butler Lions are getting ahead of the upcoming Pendleton County trash pickup season that officially starts on April 1st. Trash on Butler-Greenwood Road has been picked up. Apparently, some drivers think that it is OK to toss dozens and dozens of Monster energy cans, beer cans and tiny plastic Jim Beam & Fireball bottles. SHAME!
