It was our great honor to present a commemorative America 250 Betsy Ross Flag to Pendleton County Fiscal Court. Woodmenlife local fraternal chapter 611 members made this presentation last night at the Fiscal Court meeting.

This special presentation is part of Woodmenlife's nationwide initiative honoring the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. The limited edition Betsy Ross America 250 flag symbolizes patriotism, unity, and the shared history that connects communities across the country.

We plan to fly these colors at the American Legion Hall from Flag Day through Independence Day. At which time, this flag will be retired and placed on display at the courthouse.

A very special lifesaver award was presented to TEAGEN MEECE. Teagen not only alerted his family, but got a hose to start controlling the fire. His hose melted so he recruited his neighbors into action. Once his neighbors arrived his mother and he ran into the home to rescue pets and family treasures that were important. When ask why he went back in, he said his mother was determined to go in and he couldn’t let her go alone.
It was our Chapters honor to recognize this outstanding young man

WoodmenLife Chapter 611 honored our Veterans & First Responders with an appreciation luncheon. 75 + attendees enjoyed a special time being served by Chapter members & Pendleton County ROTC. Music was provided by Judy Combs throughout the meal with a beautiful flute rendition of The Star Spangled Banner. A special treat was the landing of the Air Evac’s helicopter (thankfully not for an emergency). Air Evac*s crew members joined us for lunch. A $350.00 donation was made to the ROTC BY OUR CHAPTER. The meal was catered by Lenoxburg Catering
