Our club was excited and honored to bestow Fellowship awards to three of our very deserving members at our recent installation meeting. Fellow awards support the Founder Region Fellowship program, which provides monetary awards to women in the final stage of their doctoral programs. Soroptimist members in Founder Region become Fellows by donating $1,000 to Fellowship. Last year, Founder Region Fellowship donated $70,000 to women pursuing PhDs in a wide variety of fields. We know we will see great things from them in the future, and we’re thrilled to support that program by awarding our three members with a Fellow donation in their honor. From left to right in the photo, club members Lynn Recknagel, Jennifer Barton, and Vicki Bailey, with District 3 Fellowship Director Kay Kelley. Congratulations!
