Some wounds are too heavy to carry alone.
Over the last week, our community has experienced pain, grief, anger, fear, and heartbreak. While we cannot change what has happened, we can choose how we move forward.
We can choose to come together.
Join us for a Community Healing Circle, a space for reflection, support, conversation, and connection. Just community showing up for community.
Whether you have been directly impacted, know someone who has, or simply feel the weight of what our city has experienced, you are welcome here.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join us by the pond as we gather in a spirit of healing, unity, and hope.

In the wake of recent violence impacting our youth and families, we are coming together to create a safe space for healing, support, and connection. ❤️

Join us for Facing the Trauma: A Safe Space for Youth & Families, hosted by Broken By Violence (BBV).

Today, we mourn with our community.
Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the events at Fairfield High School those directly affected, those who witnessed what happened, and those who may be carrying trauma from today’s events.
Broken by Violence is actively working to create a safe space where healing can begin. We are reaching out to community partners and local organizations to identify a location where young people, families, and community members can come together for support, resources, and connection.
We believe that what we don’t talk about, we can’t heal from. As our community enters the summer months, we do not want our youth and families to carry this pain alone without an opportunity to process, grieve, and begin healing.
While we may not be saying much publicly right now, please know that we are making calls, connecting with additional resources, and collaborating with our partners to create meaningful support for those impacted.
Broken by Violence cares. We stand with our community, and we are committed to helping create pathways toward healing.

Mothers of Adult Daughters Wellness Wednesday

Broken by Violence will be hosting Wellness Wednesday on May 20th from 7 to 8:30 PM. Mothers of adult daughters, this space is especially dedicated for you. Life never truly prepares us for the shift when our children become adults, so we will explore what that feels like from a mother’s perspective and also hear what it feels like from a daughter’s. Join us as we navigate this uncharted territory with understanding, love, and compassion. With our therapist, DiAndrea Donaldson, facilitating, we’ll reflect on these shifts and honor understanding, growth, and love. Space is limited, so come ready to reconnect and grow together.
