💚 Affordable Play Therapy for Children in Fairfax
The Heart Leaf Center specializes in play therapy and mental health services for children and families. We believe finances should never prevent a child from receiving the support they need.
Through our Graduate Student Intern Program, children can receive low-cost counseling from carefully supervised graduate-level therapists who are training in play-based approaches to working with children.
We offer a sliding fee scale, with sessions as low as $10 for qualifying families.
If you know of a child istruggling with anxiety, emotional regulation, behavior, school concerns, family changes, or other challenges, affordable support is available.

The Playful Heart Conference is an annual conference hosted by The Heart Leaf Center and Crossroads Family Counseling Center in September of each year. Individuals who attend the conference are able to use these trainings towards their RPT licensure.

We are so grateful to the campers at Denise Gavilan for all of the hard work they put into the Feelings Wheels and instruments they made for us the past few weeks! These kids had so many insightful questions about the work that we do at The Heart Leaf Center, and we had a wonderful time speaking with them ❤️
