Adopt A Stream Foundation The Adopt A Stream Foundation (AASF) a 501(c)3 non-profit organization- Our mission is to teach people to be stewards of their watersheds.

Come visit our headquarters, and environmental learning facility, the Northwest Stream Center! The mission of the Adopt-A-Stream Foundation is to teach people to become stewards of their watersheds. That mission is carried out by conducting natural resource training at Streamkeeper Academy, producing environmental education materials, and providing local communities stream and wetland restoration technical assistance. Now, the Adopt-A-Stream Foundation is in the process of developing the first regional environmental learning facility in the Pacific NW with stream and wetland ecology & fish and wildlife habitat restoration as its central themes. It is called the Northwest Stream Center and is located on a 20 acre site in Snohomish County's McCollum Park (approximately 1/2 mile east of Interstate 5 off the 128th Street exit between Everett and Seattle).

It’s salmon season in the PNW, so, of course, Sammy Salmon is repping his spawning colors! He says it’s a great time to come take a walk along the Northwest Stream Center’s elevated forest and wetland walk. The fall colors are beautiful, and admission helps support habitat restoration and environmental education!

The Northwest Stream Center is open Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10AM-4PM. Last admission to the trail is at 3PM. Admission: $7 adults, $6 seniors, $5 students, $3 EBT Cardholders, FREE children 5 and younger. Learn more at www.streamkeeper.org

The Adopt A Stream Foundation's Fall Native Plant Sale is still happening! Online preorders close this Saturday October 4th at 11:55PM.

All proceeds support the AASF's Fish & Wildlife Habitat Restoration Endowment Fund used to restore local salmon streams and wetlands.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about helping the AASF grow and succeed in carrying out its mission of teaching people to become stewards of their watersheds! They will work with a small professional staff of up to 10 and several volunteers. Everyone chips in to do all tasks as necessary. Also, they can expect to work occasionally on weekends or evenings for special events – and have some fun! The NWSC is a great place to work!
