Each year, in thousands of rivers and streams, the Pacific Northwest witnesses a remarkable natural phenomenon as millions of salmon return to their place of birth to spawn future generations... The Adopt A Stream Foundation (AASF) was established to ensure that Pacific Northwest streams continue to provide healthy spawning and rearing habitat for salmon, trout, steelhead, and other wildlife. At the same time, serve our growing population by providing clean drinking water, and beautiful places for rest and relaxation. The mission of Adopt A Stream Foundation: "To teach people how to be stewards of their watersheds!"

The Adopt A Stream Foundation invites you to celebrate festively and more sustainably this holiday season with our Holiday Trees for Salmon program! Do good for the planet and give a beautiful living tree a home for the holidays.

It's not too late to find the perfect foster tree, stop by the Northwest Stream Center today (Tuesday-Saturday, 10AM-4PM)

All trees returned to the Northwest Stream Center after the holiday season will be planted beside a local salmon stream, and all tree sales benefit the Adopt A Stream Foundation's environmental education curriculum and our stream and wetland restoration projects.

The weather outside is dreadful, but inside the Northwest Stream Center Nature Store it is delightful!!

Since you have no place to go, come on over and check out new gifts and stocking stuffers just arrived on a sleigh...let it snow, let it snow. Get that shopping out of the way and, all the way home, you'll be warm.

We will be here to greet you today 10 AM until 4 PM, and Friday. No crowds and easy parking.

We will not be open on Saturday the 24th.

We have lots of wonderful gifts for the loved ones in your life this holiday season! Stop on by to peruse! The Nature Store is open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm weekly!

All of the proceeds from these sales support operations at the Northwest Stream Center and enable the Adopt A Stream Foundation to continue its mission through Streamkeeper Academy environmental education programming and habitat restoration projects.
