The Outboard Boating Club of Evansville or "OBC" was founded in Evansville way back in 1957. We are people who enjoy boating, spending time with family and friends and supporting our communities. Our members come from all over the Tri-state, Evansville, Mt. Vernon, Henderson, Fort Branch, Wadesville, Poseyville, Haubstadt, and many more. We currently own 9 acres on Old Henderson Road in Evansville

, IN where we maintain a private campground for our members and club facilities. Our children's programs are a great hit with the youngest members. We have Little Boater's Luau, a grand 4th of July fireworks extravaganza, Memorial Day picnics, and many more events for family and friends. A portion of everything we make goes back into the community supporting organizations like Soldier Dogs, The Boys and Girls Club, Holly's House, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Susan G Komen Foundation, 911 Gives Hope, FOP Pal Camp, Evansville Rescue Mission, Alzheimer's Association, Hope for Heather and many more.

Evansville's Most Anticipated Boating Event is tomorrow starting at 11AM. You may start at any stop along the course. No Pre-Registration needed. Reminder for Newcomers....this is not race. Please use proper boat etiquette. Stay hydrated, bring enough life jackets for everyone on board your vessel. We can't wait to see you!

The Outboard Boating Club of Evansville (OBC) has been a proud part of the Evansville community since 1957. We’re a group of boating enthusiasts who value time on the water, family, friendship, and giving back.

Our club owns a 9-acre property on Old Henderson Road in Evansville, Indiana, where we maintain a private campground and facilities exclusively for our members. Throughout the year, we host a variety of events for members, families, and guests—including our well-loved children’s events and seasonal gatherings.

OBC is best known for some of the area’s most anticipated traditions: our spectacular fireworks display, the annual Charity Poker Run, and our famous Pork Parfaits at the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival.

As a non-profit organization, giving back is at the heart of what we do. We proudly support numerous local causes and charities, including Honor Flight, Boys & Girls Club, Holly’s House, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Evansville Rescue Mission, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and many others.
