⛳ We’re Hiring: Two Assistant Tournament Directors

The Liberty Federal Credit Union Junior Golf Tour is looking for two Assistant Tournament Directors to join us this summer!

If you love golf, enjoy working with kids, and want hands-on event management experience, this is a great opportunity to be part of one of the area’s premier junior golf programs.

📅 Position Details:
- Dates: June 1 – July 24
- Off Week: June 29
- Hours: 24–34 hours per week

Schedule: Weekdays only (no weekends!)

🏌️‍♂️ Responsibilities Include:
- Tournament setup and breakdown
- Starting players
- Course marshalling
- Assisting with rules situations
- Scoring support
- Engaging with and encouraging junior competitors
- Helping ensure a smooth, professional event experience

This position is ideal for a recent high school graduate or college student who enjoys leadership, organization, and being around the game of golf.

Our 2026 schedule is nearly finalized, and we’re excited to introduce several updates — including new events like a team competition and a parent-child tournament.

The full schedule will be released March 1, with registration opening May 1.

Whether they're picking up a club for the first time or have years of experience, these sessions are perfect for building skills, learning the rules, and having fun before the season begins! 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

Pictured is one of our EJGA key volunteers, Coach Ken Wempe, who was inducted into the Indiana State High School Hall of Fame this past weekend. His teams at North won six state championships in eight years. In the center is Ashley Kirkland, who is an active player in our EJGA program and was awarded All-State Team for 2023. And on the right is Coach Wempe’s biggest fan, Jan Wempe. We are honored to have such outstanding individuals in our program.
