David is one of our great kitchen staff members whom, along with others, helps prepare and serve daily nutritious meals through our Meals on Wheels Southwestern Indiana program.

Beware of Scam calls!

Linda Barron, an 81-year-old woman from Carmel, has been receiving scam calls offering help with her pain, and is warning other senior citizens to be aware of Medicare-related scams that resulted in over $2 million in consumer losses in 2025.

Part time position available at Independent Square meal site. One & half hours per day, 11:00am -12:30pm. Monday – Friday, $10 per hour. Duties include serving food, clean up, light paperwork.
Must have the ability to work with the SWIRCA & More’s senior community.
Must pass a background check & drug test required. Great job for retiree or college student.

SWIRCA & More is proud to celebrate them for successfully completing the Dementia Friends Information Session and becoming Dementia Friends! Our Dementia Outreach Specialist, Rhonda Walsh, covered what dementia is, how it affects people, and how to communicate and interact with greater confidence and compassion. For library staff, this training is especially valuable because it equips them to create a more welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for community members living with dementia and their caregivers.
