Our Scouts learn Character Development, Citizenship Training, Personal Fitness and Leadership Developing. Pack 903 (formally Pack 3) of Evanston, Illinois has been proudly serving youth for approximately 85 years! We are a group for ALL boys in 1st-5th grades. We believe that Scouting should be available to all boys - regardless of income or ability. Our main meeting place has a series of steps. I
f this is a problem for you, please contact us and we will put you in contact with other area Units who may be able to accommodate you. Otherwise, we will make whatever accommodations we can to make your Scout's experience wonderful. We work on many different activities: some from the Cub Scout handbooks, and some chosen by the children and their parents such as Raingutter Regatta, STEM, Pinewood Derby, woodworking, Leave No Trace, being safe, and much more. We spend a lot of time doing work for others others. We complete any service projects throughout the year. For more information on the service projects we have completed, see our Service Projects album. We meet most Thursdays during the school year. Most meeting take place at Orrington School, however sometimes, we meet elsewhere. Please see the "Events" page for where we will be each week. The Pack is run by adult volunteers who go through training to learn how to teach the children. We are also all required to take Youth Protection Training. We are sponsored by the American Legion Post 42, and we work with them on several service projects throughout the year. You can learn more about Post 42 here: http://evanstonpost42.com/
