**AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM AMTA ***
We’ve received several inquiries from chapter volunteers regarding text messages sent to members offering health or insurance coverage or investment opportunities using AMTA’s name. We do not text our members about AMTA benefits.
Please note that AMTA members must subscribe to receive text messages from AMTA. Any text messages sent by AMTA will be limited to transactional communications, such as membership renewals or installment plan notifications, as well as occasional promotional messages.
Additionally, AGIA, AMTA’s provider of optional insurance products, has confirmed that it does not send text messages to AMTA members.
As a reminder, please remain vigilant for scam attempts. These may come from individuals claiming to be chapter volunteers, chapter leaders, or the National President and may request funds, gift cards, or other forms of payment.
