At the beginning of the school year, we welcomed a visitor from Guinea-Bissau (thanks FirstRepair). One of our Royals asked, โ€œWhat is it like to live in Africa?โ€

A good reminder that Africa is a continent, not a country.

What does it mean? What other words do we know with that same root?

Sometimes you have to slow down and unpack the word before you can really learn the word.

This year, our Royals are learning that small doesnโ€™t mean incapable. Small can be mighty.

Weโ€™ve had this kindergartner since he was three, and heโ€™s a pretty great example. Little in size, but BIG in imagination, confidence, and what he believes he can do.
