Bags of Love provides necessities and comfort items to children in crisis due to abuse, neglect, poverty, homelessness or disaster.

Bags of Love is committed to helping children in crisis. A Bag of Love provides a sense of security and hope to a child experiencing poverty, affected by abuse or neglect, moving into foster care, or dealing with the aftermath of a natural disaster. It gives a child a sense of security and comfort, a “security blanket” to hold onto at what may be the worst point in his or her young life. A Bag of Love is a ray of hope in a time of crisis. It's a care package of age-appropriate necessities and comfort items such as clothing, toiletries, toys, and a handmade quilt or blanket. Since 2008, Bags of Love has provided support to 27,000 children in need. In our first full year of operation, we distributed 208 bags; by 2022, that number had grown to over 4,600. We work with more than 100 local social service organizations, school districts, and government agencies to get Bags of Love into the hands of the children who need them.

Our Most Needed Fall Item: Youth Coats in Sizes 10/12!

As the temperatures drop, we’re working to make sure every child who receives a Bag of Love has what they need to stay warm and cozy. Right now, we’re especially in need of youth coats in sizes 10/12!

Have a new or gently used coat to donate? Your generosity helps bring warmth, comfort, and a little extra love to a child in need. 🧡

Look at all these goodies! 🤩 Thank you to our friends at Thermo Fisher Scientific for hosting a donation drive for Bags of Love! Their team members donated our most needed items, which included summer pajamas, youth pants, brand new underwear, and some cute plushies too! 🧸

We're so grateful for companies like you who give back to our local community. Thank you for helping us support local children in crisis.❤️

Announcement! 📣 We will be closed this coming Wednesday and Thursday. We will not be accepting donations or hosting volunteers on those days.

We WILL be open for agencies who are picking up bag orders. Just give us a call when you arrive!
