The Daisy Chain Music Program will be offering their last class today. This is a class for families and caretakers with infants to 15 months old. This is a drop in format from 1:00-2:00 PM. Be aware that the Daisy Chain staff was given very little notice to shut down the office, so the space is in transition. Our usual location of the sunset room will feel like it always does. Come with your babe for one last Daisy Chain song.

Dear Daisy CHAIN Community,

It is with a very heavy heart that we write to you today. After many conversations, careful consideration, and every effort to chart a sustainable path forward, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close Daisy CHAIN effective immediately. Our final day of operations will be February 20, 2026.

However, for those clients who are already paired with us and have due dates between February 20 and March 20, we feel it is important to honor those commitments and we are hopeful we will walk through that final stretch of care with the families who are already in our circle. We will connect with those folx directly early next week.

This is not the ending we envisioned. The financial climate has become increasingly difficult, and despite exhausting available options, we are no longer able to continue in a way that honors our commitments, our staff, and the families we serve. Making this decision has been profoundly painful.

For years, you trusted us during some of the most tender and transformative seasons of your lives — pregnancy, early parenthood, feeding journeys, sleepless nights, first songs, first connections. It has been an honor beyond words to walk alongside you through lactation support, doula care, and early childhood music classes. To be welcomed into your homes, your stories, and your vulnerability is something we will never take lightly.

We are deeply grateful for your trust. Grateful for your partnership. Grateful for the community you built with us and around each other. Daisy CHAIN has always been more than a program — it has been a network of care, compassion, and shared humanity. That spirit belongs to all of you.

While our doors are closing, the work itself continues in this community. We will post a referral list on our website to help connect you with other trusted providers offering lactation services, doula support, and early childhood music programming. We hope this list serves as a bridge — helping you find continued care, connection, and support.

For advance sign up fill out a sign up form. You can also use the form to ask any questions about classes or the program and a Music Program Team Member will get back to you shortly. This week the music team will be out of the office on Monday and we will begin replies on Tuesday.

UPDATE: No Nursing Nook or Drop In Services Friday, January 30!

Daisy CHAIN affirms our care for and solidarity
with community members experiencing harm
due to ICE violence.

This Friday, January 30th, our staff who choose to participate in National Shutdown Day will take paid time off. As a result, Nursing Nook and Drop-In at Daisy’s Place will be closed for the day.

We remain committed to continuity of care, and all time-sensitive birth services and termination support will not be impacted by these program closures.

Daisy CHAIN reafirma nuestro compromiso y solidaridad con los miembros de la comunidad que sufren las consecuencias de la violencia de ICE.

Este viernes 30 de enero, nuestro personal que decida participar en el Día Nacional de Paro Laboral tendrá el día libre con goce de sueldo. Por lo tanto, Nursing Nook y el centro de atención sin cita previa en Daisy’s Place permanecerán cerrados ese día.

Mantenemos nuestro compromiso con la continuidad de la atención, y todos los servicios de atención al parto y de apoyo para la interrupción del embarazo, que requieren atención inmediata, no se verán afectados por estos cierres temporales.
