‼️Today is your last day to double your impact‼️

This summer, your Y wants to ensure that every child has a chance to...
-gain confidence
-conquer fears
-act silly
-try new things
and discover who they truly are at a Y camp.

Right now, every dollar you give is matched dollar-for-dollar by the Gregory-Greenberg Children's Foundation, up to $30,000. That means that any meaningful gift you make today is doubled.

Don't miss your chance to give today and help a child build memories, confidence and joy that last far beyond summer. 💚🩵💙

At the Eugene Family YMCA, inclusion is at the heart of who we are. This Pride Month, we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and reaffirm our commitment to creating spaces where everyone feels seen, valued and supported. Let's build a stronger, more vibrant community together.

Everyone belongs here.🌈

It’s hard to fully capture what Y Camp means to kids in our community; but it starts with a safe place, a full belly, and trusted adults who care. This summer, we’re committed to providing $127,855 in financial assistance so every child has the chance to belong.

Right now, your impact goes even further. Every dollar you give is matched, dollar-for-dollar, by the Gregory-Greenberg Children’s Foundation (up to $30,000).

One week of camp costs $335. With the match, that sends two kids. A $500 gift sends three. Don't miss your chance to give today and double your impact. 💌💌

Water Safety Month is coming to a close, and we want to spare a moment to recognize those who take preparedness to a whole new level!

Ever wonder why we sometimes close the Aquatics Center early on a Sunday? It's because each and every month, Y Aquatics staff participate in mandatory trainings, ensuring our team is always ready when they're needed 💪🏊🛟

In addition to this continuous staff training, the Y is also proud to host regular American Red Cross certification courses for the public, preparing the next generation of heroes to keep our community safe, in and out of the water.

We ❤️ you, lifeguards!

WE'RE HIRING! Youth Sports Lead - Gym Supervisor 🏀

As a Youth Sports Lead, you will be part of our amazing YMCA team creating a safe and fun environment for youth and adults to learn fundamental skills centered around sports. Through an engaging and fun environment, you will provide age-appropriate instructions, learning support, and teach teamwork and social skills. Youth Sports Leads create positive, nurturing relationships with youth and adults, while building cooperative relationships with families, focused on the YMCA values: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

As Water Safety Month continues, let's take a moment to shine a light on the power of swim lessons 🏊

Here in Oregon, drowning is the no. 2 cause of death for children ages 4 and younger. While that fact may be sobering, it's heartening to know that participation in formal swim lessons is associated with an 88% reduction in drowning risk for kids ages 1 to 4.

The Eugene Family YMCA is proud to offer group swim lessons for infants through elementary schoolers, and to provide financial assistance for our programs, making these important life skills accessible to all (thank you, donors!)

Last year, 807 kids learned water safety skills here at your Y! Now THAT's a number we love to share 💜

Registration for our popular summer group swim lessons is open now, and while they fill fast, there are still some spots available. If you don't see an opening for the slot that works best for your family, consider joining the waitlist—summer plans have a habit of changing and you might be pleasantly surprised!

Hope to see you in the pool soon 🐟
