Did you know we have a Little Free Pantry next to the bike shed? 🫘🥜🥫

Built from a piece of local history — reclaimed wood from the old Y's gym floor — it's stocked entirely by community generosity. We welcome donations of unexpired, shelf-stable food, including pet food. Drop it in anytime.

With warmer weather here, nonperishables are especially appreciated.

Young artists, what are you doing this August?

Local artist Alex Ever (they/them) invites middle- and high-schoolers on a collaborative journey to create a large-scale, multimedia self-portrait installation rooted in identity and experimentation. Students will choose their own pathways and materials, combining exploration with intentional design. Come prepared to think big, get messy and build something that feels entirely your own.

Artists will have the opportunity to have their final work displayed for the community at the Eugene Family YMCA!

Week of Aug. 3 to 7, 12 to 4 p.m.

🎉It's official!🎉The Walk it Off 2026 Launch Party is tonight from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

🚶Walk It Off with the Y is a free, family-friendly summer walking series happening every Wednesday evening from July through August at Alton Baker Park.🚶

❗Tonight is your one and only chance to celebrate at the Y before we head to the park.❗

Drop in to register, pick up your 2026 Walk It Off t-shirt, and get everything you need to make the most of the season ahead. Groovy Blendz will be parked outside with acai bowls available for purchase! The Launch Party is free and open to all—Y members and non-members alike!

Ring! Ring! 🛎️🚵 This week, Texas 4000 for Cancer stopped by your Y during its cross-country journey to fight for a world without cancer.

This inspiring group of student riders, from the University of Texas, is cycling from Austin, TX, to Anchorage, AK, to raise funds and awareness for cancer research and support services. As the world's longest annual charity bike ride, their messages of prevention and early detection connect communities large and small around a shared cause.

Thank you for including the Eugene Family YMCA in your journey and for the powerful impact you are making. We are cheering you on every mile of the way! 🧡🩵
