Krew is an amazing 9-year-old boy who loves wrestling, football, dancing, singing, and Jesus.
On June 24th, Krew went to bible camp with his dad, Kevin, tagging along as a camp leader. By mid-week, Kevin noticed Krew wasn’t eating or drinking much. They returned home on Friday where Becky, Krew’s mom, noticed his feet were a bit swollen and figured he might just be a bit dehydrated. Saturday morning, Krew’s face was also swollen so they took him to the emergency room. Kevin and Becky’s lives would be turned upside down when labs came back. They took Krew by helicopter to Primary Children’s in Salt Lake City. Becky did say Krew thought that part was ‘cool’.
He was given a blood transfusion and diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. They are expecting to start Chemo on Monday.
They are standing strong in faith. We know God has a plan and purpose and works all things for his good! Please continue to bathe this family in your prayers.
Kevin and Becky live and work 3 hours from Salt Lake City. As you would expect, this means they will be spending a significant amount of time away from work. We are hoping to raise enough funds to alleviate some of the financial stress that’s to come.
Please share.
