Before Cooper was adopted, he spent 84 days in foster care, and saw 7 different veterinarians — from general practice to specialists — before he was healthy enough to be placed. His journey required extraordinary care, and your donations made it possible to say yes to every step of it.
Cooper's care cost CCR $11,363.57 after generous discounts from the veterinary clinics involved. That total reflects the full scope of what Cooper needed: treatment for parasites, multiple infections, specialist consultations, and complex surgeries.
CCR still needs your help! We never know exactly how much care collies incoming to our rescue are going to need. One dog has the potential to drain the resources of a small volunteer rescue organization like CCR.
If you have the ability, please consider donating to CCR so we can continue to provide the quality care these dogs deserve.
