We are located in Ellicott City, Maryland Small Miracles Cat & Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) animal welfare nonprofit focused on finding adoptive homes for stray, surrendered, abandoned and/or homeless cats and dogs in Howard County, Maryland, and beyond. Small Miracles has helped find adoptive homes for thousands of cats, kittens, dogs and puppies since 2006. We have a robust network of volunteers and foster homes who provide needy animals with shelter, socialization, training and necessary veterinary care in preparation for adoption. Adoption fees:
Cats - $100
Kittens - $155
Dogs - $350
Microchips for adopted animals available for $30 with lifetime registration. Cardboard carriers are available for $5. Adoptable animals have received a vet exam, vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, flea and tick treatment, de-wormer and stool check. Cats are tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Dogs are tested for heartworm.

TOMORROW! Join DTM Fitness and Small Miracles Rescue at Black Flag Brewery in Columbia for puppy yoga. 100% of ticket proceeds benefit Small Miracles thanks to the donations of instruction, space and pints!

What to expect:
- 45 minutes of puppy accompanied yoga.
- Post-Yoga Pint: Enjoy a pint from the taproom (for guests 21 and over). First pint is included with ticket purchase.
- $50 for the first person, $35 for additional guests in the same family/group.

Important Information:
- Bring your own yoga mat or towel.
- Space is limited, so order today!
- The only dogs allowed on the class floor will be the rescues (and no outside food or treats please).
- Spectators are not allowed in class. To ensure the safety, privacy, and comfort of participants and event staff/volunteers. Your guests must hang out in the taproom
- The recommended age is 10+ to attend the class; however, children who are able to behave appropriately in a yoga class are welcome with a legal guardian

Meet Bella! 💗

This sweet big girl is 6 years old, 75lbs, and a Plott Hound mix with so much love to give!

She came all the way from Texas where she was one of the longest residents at the shelter, waiting over a year for a home. Now she’s got a second chance in Maryland and we’re hoping her people are just around the corner!

Bella is housetrained and great with other dogs, cats, and kids. She's currently in foster and doing amazing - her foster family says she has been the perfect family pet! Now she’s just looking for her forever family.

Bella may also make an appearance at the event we are attending at Watkins Park in Mt. Airy this Saturday from 11-2pm! So stop by - you will fall in love!

Sign up for our next volunteer orientation! 🐾

If you are interested in helping walk some of our shelter dogs and want to learn more about volunteering, join us on Monday, October 19th at 5:30 pm. It is a great opportunity to learn more about what our volunteers do, ask any questions you may have, and help give shelter dogs a much-needed break from their kennels! You can also meet some cute furry friends while you’re there 🐶

We will be offering Fido Field trips the next TWO SUNDAYS: October 18 & 25 from 9-12pm!

Give one of our shelter pups a much needed break from their kennels. Whether it’s a hike, a trip for a pup cup, or just relaxing at home, a few hours outside of the shelter can make a huge difference! You can also share photos/videos of the dog, which can help them get adopted faster.
