IN SEARCH OF SOME SUMMER OFFERINGS IN ELGIN?
The City of Elgin announces the return of the popular Concerts in the Park series for summer 2026. This free, family-friendly event series invites residents and visitors to enjoy live music in two of Elgin’s most scenic outdoor parks.
Concerts will take place Thursday evenings from June 4 through August 13, from 7–8:30 p.m., with locations alternating between the Wing Park Bandshell (1010 Wing St.) and the Pavilion at Lords Park (100 Oakwood Blvd.). No concert is scheduled for Thursday, July 2, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for a comfortable, relaxing evening of outdoor entertainment. Food trucks will be available.
“Concerts in the Park is a cherished summer tradition that brings our community together through music,” said Chris Holling, Community Events Coordinator. “This year’s lineup truly has something for every music lover, with a diverse range of acts that span genres and appeal to audiences of all ages. We’re excited to create welcoming, vibrant spaces where the community can gather and enjoy live performances all summer long.”
