No one part can say to another, "I have no need of you."

For some Christians, especially Christians of color, ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐›๐ž ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐š๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐žโ€”๐š๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐ง๐ž'๐ฌ ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ ๐ž ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‰๐ž๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ. Some have even been taught that aspects of their culture are unspiritual or somehow less Christian.

After all, God created us with different histories, cultures, languages, gifts, and experiences.

Your culture is not a threat to your faith.
Your identity is not something to overcome.
When submitted to Christ, it can become one more way God's image is reflected in the world.

๐ŸŒฑ A greater understanding of your brothers and sisters in Christ.
๐ŸŒฑ And perhaps even a fresh glimpse of how God works through people whose experiences are different from your own.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ It's starting to look a lot more like home.

Today brought another exciting milestone in our restoration journey. Most of the balcony pews have now been delivered and are waiting to be installed, and two of the sanctuary columns were in place when I left this afternoon.

A gentle reminder: installation will take time. We have nearly half a mile of pews when laid end to end, and each section must be carefully placed, secured, and aligned.

Every day brings visible progress, and we're grateful for the skilled workers helping bring our beloved sanctuary back to life. There's still more work ahead, but it's encouraging to see the pieces coming together.

Thank you for your patience, prayers, and continued support. We're getting closer. โค๏ธ
