Fantastic event last night Wild Fork 🛒 in Manhattan Beach! We had a big group of South Bay Runners Club attending the run after a dynamic warmup courtesy of Club Pilates Hermosa Beach. Jarritos provided fun flavored all-natural drinks and Village Runner XC had great shoe demos as well. The event was capped off with everyone getting a store gift card to Wild Fork and a raffle with some big winners! (Shay, Irene, Julie, and Michelle - congratulations 🎊) Definitely worth checking out this local store as the quality and prices are fantastic and the chef they had to prepare the food truly demonstrated the tasty items 😋

This SUNDAY directly after the morning run, come drop blankets and chairs at Valley Park to save your space with SBRC for The Police Academy will be performing songs by both Sting and the Police from 5-7pm. Join us at 4pm to picnic and chat before the music 🎶 begins as our running club is about building community as much as it is about walking and running. Come join the fun 🤩

Skechers & SBRC partnership and 11th Anniversary Celebration 🎊 was a hit. We had 2 beautiful runs at 5:30pm and 6:30pm from their beautiful store to along the shore. Also we had the opportunity to test drive a selection of their top performance running shoes. Cheers 🥂 to this pairing and Congratulations to Cindy Le and Akira Hatori for being the big winners of the evening of a complimentary pair of shoes 👟

Meet at Wild Fork 🛒 (on the corner of Manhattan Beach Blvd & Sepulveda) for a 5 mile or 5K group run or walk. After, Wild Fork will be bringing in a pit master to sample some of their BBQ meats! Everyone registered will receive a $5.00 gift card and a raffle ticket. In addition, Village Runner-Running Experts / ASICS will demo their Gel Kayano 33 and Nova Blast 6, Club Pilates Hermosa Beach will lead a dynamic warmup and recovery and Jarritos will be sampling their new probiotic drink, Sana Sana. ☀️Good Morning from the Thursday 5am Muffin Hill Crew!

📺 Ted Lasso - Season 4 started last night….. and to celebrate the new season - we had “Biscuits with the Boss” this morning!! I found the ‘secret’ Ted Lasso biscuit recipe online.

I picked up the pink pastry boxes to complete the look.

📺 In the show, the main character, Ted, brings a little pink box of delicious biscuits to his boss, Rebecca, each morning. It is a gesture of kindness.

📺 In the show, Ted Lasso tells his team players to “Be a Goldfish”. Goldfish have a short memory for mistakes and bad plays. Ted says that they are the happiest animals on earth because they have a 10-second memory. So if you make a mistake during the game, just forget about it, and focus on what’s ahead. “Be a goldfish.”

📺 In the show, there is a “BELIEVE” poster taped up in the locker room above the coach’s door. It is an important focal point of many scenes. So of course, I made one too, then tore it up, and taped it back together. ☺️
