Popsicles for our student PTSA members yesterday! We had a number of students come by and ask how they could get a popsicle and we told them to sign up to be members next year. We’ll have more in store for them in the fall! 🙌🏽

Students reunited with lost items yesterday (and may have went “thrift shopping” too 🫣). A lot of items were claimed but please stop by the Lost & Found next to the 7th/8th grade gate to see if you recognize anything!

If you like to organize, we got what you need! We’ll be sorting through and organizing the overwhelming Lost & Found that’s accumulated this year. Did your student “borrow” your favorite Stanley cup and is now nowhere to be found? You might find it on Tuesday! We’ll have rolling racks and hangers for the clothes and tables to lay out all the other stuff. Shifts are in one-hour increments. Come when you can! Only a few tears shed but a lot of side hugs and “OK OK bye, love you too” as we sent off our 8th graders to Washington, DC on Tuesday evening. PTSA passed out “DC survival kits” that included crosswords & maze puzzles to do on the plane, electrolytes to keep them hydrated, and ponchos in case it rains. Chaperones also got a coffee gift card to keep them going, a mini first-aid kit (with multiple packs of headache medicine!) and ear plugs (for when they just can’t anymore 🤣). Loved hearing the “I love yous” and seeing parents so excited for their students to experience this adventure. Two days in and the students look to be having a blast and staying safe! We can’t wait to hear their stories. See you soon, Dolphins!

EPIC. The only word to describe last Friday’s Color Games! It was a blast not only for the students but also the parent volunteers! THANK YOU, thank you, thank you to the families who supported our fundraiser - from donating your hard earned funds to sharing with family & friends to allowing your students to participate to volunteering (and being willing to get dirty!) to obtaining company matches to reading our daily posts - all of this contributed to an extremely successful fundraiser and a fantastic Color Games event that was so much fun! 🙏 Thank you to our partner for an awesome two week campaign and bringing all the energy!
